I loved this!!! I too am maximalist mom but sadly not in a useful way, think more hoarders. I would never have a bandaid on my person and I have often rued the day. I also bought all the minimalist books sister!!!

I am with you on collecting books on minimalism. They really round out the bookshelves I put actual books on! ;)

I can so appreciate this piece of writing and tip y hat to you maximalist moms!! As an admitted minimalist mom (for better, or for worse in those sticky situations), I love having friends like you that show me alternative approaches to get the job of motherhood done! 🫶🏽

Adrienne I FEEL you on this one. I’d rather be caught dead than unprepared for any scenario we might encounter. 😂 My husband thinks it’s a little overkill and balances me with the lessons in grittiness, but he’s come to appreciate what I bring to the table. ;) Thank you for sharing!!

This is love, right?! It should have been in the wedding vows. :)

minimalist in most of life, but definitely lean maximalist on the mom side. several of my friends have moved to a little clutch that has a couple diapers, one outfit, and butt paste for their second or third. but me? still rocking that diaper bag filled with everything i might need while also having a car organizer with more of everything i might need…except the travel deodorant. might need to add that. 😉
