Oh my gosh this essay! I listened to it on audio while outside on my morning walk with the baby. You wove so many beautiful analogies together…and the references to scanning for germs and carrying hand sanitizer I could relate to with my daughter going through cancer treatment. My favorite analogy was you referring to you and your husband as puzzle 🧩 pieces…that line got me.
