The inner critic is real and hard to overcome— I have chalked it up to my innate, born personality and how it has absorbed/interpreted the society and world we live in. We see a lot of “perfection”, judgement, unforgiven trespasses and decide if we strive for perfect ourselves, we will keep our little families safe from the wrath. I realize, time and time again, the most dangerous wrath is of my own doing. When I can review the day through a fresh lens, I agree with you: I’m doing a good job and my people and God see that.
